Lease with an option to buy
Nearly every piano in our inventory is available on a lease-to-own basis. For a monthly rent payment, you can put the piano into your home today and build equity toward its purchase over the next 4, 5, or even 10 years. The terms of our rental program are simple.
-
Delivery costs are covered by us.
-
All maintenance, including two tunings per year, are included.
-
Lease term is 12 months minimum, after which it is month-to-month.
-
The monthly lease payment will not change throughout the predetermined lifespan of the lease, whether that is 3, 4, 5, or 10 years.
-
Buyout cost is reduced as a direct proportion of your lease's lifespan on each lease anniversary date.
For Example:
-
We agree on a purchase price of $5,000 for a piano.
-
Rather than purchasing it upfront, you choose to rent it on a 10-year term.
-
The monthly rental is calculated at $114 per month.
-
After 12 months, you have three options:
-
Return the piano to us. (We will ask that you cover the moving costs.)
-
Purchase the piano for $4,500. (Purchase price is reduced by 10% each year on a 10-year lease.)
-
Continue to pay the rental fee on a month-to-month basis. (After 10 years, ownership of the piano will transfer to you.)
-
-
In the meantime, we will provide all maintenance for the instrument, including two tunings per year.
This is a great option for "trying out" a piano for a year or two to determine whether it will be used in the longrun. It is a bit more expensive than many retail stores' rental programs, because it is intended as a pre-sale trial, rather than a life-long rental.
Please contact us to discuss rental terms on any of the instruments we are currently selling.
